The Greatest Christmas Gift of All!
by Footprints Ministry, Inc. on

Christmas time for alot of people is a time of rushing around to see family and buying and exchanging Christmas gifts. But there is one place in town where everything is standing still, no one is worrying about their Christmas shopping or making plans for Christmas day other than their plans to sit at their baby's bedside in the NICU.

Santa made a special appearance at Baptist South NICU on December 23rd. What an incredible visit it was! Santa arrived to take pictures with all of his little elves in the NICU and he delivered my 1st Christmas stockings to each of them. He also prayed over each of these precious children and asked for healing and hope for each of these families. The smiles on the NICU family's faces were priceless.

We met one mother who had not received a Footprints bag yet. We explained to her what all they contained. She asked "it has a Bible?" We said "yes it has a Bible" She followed with "wow, I've never owned my own Bible".  We ran down the hall to grab her a Footprints bag and gave it to her. She was so thankful for the bag but especially for the Bible. Wow, what a powerful thing to know that Footprints provided a mother with her very 1st Bible! Thank you Lord for allowing us to minister to her! We pray that a seed has been planted and her life will begin to be transformed.

What a reminder of what Christmas is all about! It's not about the hustle and bustle but the birth of our Savior! Below are some pictures from our Christmas visit. Thank you for supporting Footprints so we can continue spreading the love of Christ!

“Glory to God in highest heaven,
and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.”  Luke 2:14

All Glory to God!
by Footprints Ministry, Inc. on

We had an amazing golf tournament in August! We had many golfers, volunteers and sponsors that helped make this tournament a HUGE success! The weather was absolutely beautiful and the Lord couldn't have blessed us with a more gorgeous day! Because of everyone's generousity we raised over $12,000 for the Footprints Ministry! There is no way I can ever thank everyone for all that you did for this tournament. My heart is full of joy as I know that so many NICU families will be blessed because of your participation in this golf tournament!

The tournament began with prayer and the golfers were off to their tee boxes. Near lunch time the golfers began to arrive with the score cards back to the clubhouse. The tournament was followed by a BBQ lunch provided by the Robert Trent Jones golf course. The golfers were blessed by our incredible speaker Beau Daniel, whose son had been in the NICU over 100 days. He shared his family's NICU journey and talked about why it is so important to have the Footprints Ministry in the NICU.

This day could not have been any better! The Lord always accomplishes so much more than we could ever ask or dream for! Thank you Lord for the amazing work you accomplish through this ministry! To God be the glory!

"Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think." Ephesians 3:20

Aubie's Visit to Baptist South
by Footprints Ministry, Inc. on

We had a great visit with Aubie to Baptist South NICU last week! The parents, nurses and babies were so excited to see Aubie! Aubie blew lots of kisses to our NICU babies! We also gave out Football cookies made by Kadra Parkman wth One Smart Cookie. It's a little early for our NICU babies to eat them but we know the parents enjoyed them! Our NICU babies all had on their football attire. One pictured below even had a red and white cheerleader outfit on from the Build a Bear store. How cute is that! No matter what team you pull for Aubie was so happy to visit all of the little tigers. Enjoy the pictures below!

"You thrill me, Lord, with all you have done for me!
I sing for joy because of what you have done.

A Special Guest in the NICU
by Footprints Ministry, Inc. on

We're excited to announce that Aubie from Auburn University will be coming to visit Baptist South NICU on Friday August 14th. We'll be taking pictures of Aubie with all of the little tigers in the NICU. We thought this would be a  great way to get our NICU babies ready for their 1st football season! Please pray for our visit on the 14th.
